Hello My Name Is...
Lindsey Quick

I am excited to be teaching Visual Arts in Amelia County this year! I will be teaching Art I-IV at Amelia County High School (go Raiders!). In addition to fine arts, I will be facilitating the Virtual Virginia online French courses.
Originally from Orlando, Florida, I moved to the Midlothian area when I was 9 years old. After growing up in the Chesterfield County school system, I attended VCU (GO RAMS!) and received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Craft and Material Studies with a focus in glass blowing. I worked for several years before turning my goals to my true passion: teaching. I returned to VCU to receive a second Bachelors in Fine Arts in Art Education (K-12) and graduated in December 2017. My first teaching position was in Adelphi, MD, before I was called back home to join the Amelia County family.
I have a husband (Davison), two cats (Bojangles & Freya), and a dog (Timber). I enjoy rock climbing, horseback riding, and creating art in my spare time.
I am looking forward to a great first year of artistic exploration! GO RAIDERS!
