I am
excited to be teaching instrumental music in Amelia County this year!  This will be my third year teaching in Amelia County, having previously taught in Loudoun County.  I will be splitting my days between the middle school and high school. At the middle school, I am teaching Beginning Band, Intermediate Band, and Advanced Band as well as 5th grade music resource.  At the high school, I am teaching Symphonic Band and Percussion Ensemble as well as directing the Raider Marching Band and Raider Jazz Ensemble!

Originally from Northern Virginia, I grew up in Herndon (right by Dulles Airport) and graduated from Westfield High School in Fairfax County.  I received my Bachelor of Music Education from the Pennsylvania State University (WE ARE!) and my Master of Music in Clarinet Performance from Michigan State University (GO GREEN!).

I
enjoy being active in the local music community as a performer.  I currently live in Chesterfield with my beautiful wife and our two cats, Buster Brown and BlackberryMy interests include listening to music, playing the clarinet, biking, skating, watching football, and talking about/watching movies and TV shows.

I am looking forward to another great year of musical exploration!  GO RAIDERS!
