ACHS Holds Mock Accident ScenarioOn Thursday, March 30th, our juniors and seniors were invited outside during 6th period to view a mock accident scenario with participation from our local fire, rescue, and police agencies, as well as Virginia State Police and MedFlight at MCV. The event was organized in house by ACHS seniors James Bailey and Selena Yanoska, and many ACHS student members of the Amelia Rescue Squad and Fire Departments took part in the activities in their roles on their respective squads and as mock victims. This presentation delivered a powerful message about the dangers of drinking and driving as prom and end of the year festivities are approaching, and it provided an excellent showcase for the many talents and passions of all the students involved in these impressive and commendable efforts alongside their impressive academic efforts in school.
