ACHS will dismiss beginning at 12:30 P.M. ACMS will dismiss beginning at 12:40 P.M. and ACES will dismiss beginning at 12:50 P.M. In addition, all schools and school offices will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2024 in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. We hope everyone enjoys the long upcoming weekend! The Amelia FFA received two awards at Session One of the 98th Virginia FFA State Convention! The 100% Membership award is given to chapters who have all students enrolled in the agriculture classes as FFA Members.
Amelia also received a Superior Chapter award! The National Chapter Award Program is designed to recognize FFA chapters that actively implement the mission and strategies of the organization. These chapters improve chapter operations using the National Quality Chapter Standards (NQCS) and a Program of Activities (POA) that emphasize growing leaders, building communities and strengthening agriculture. Chapters are rewarded for providing educational experiences for the entire membership.
